A tiny cluttered room being used as a make-shift utility room. Embarrassed about the state of it but we will get to it when we have made a decision as to whether it is going to be knocked into Bedroom 4 or whether it is going to remain a utility room. It is a room that is found by the side of the wetroom, which will become ensuite 4 perhaps. It also needs a new window, or maybe a back door if it stays a utility room. So many decisions still.
It was given a coat of white paint but then the storage heater was removed, leaving a ghastly patch which we haven't got around to sorting out. It houses washing machine, tumble dryer, small chest freezer, bathroom drawers and a bookshelf with shoes piled onto it. It also keeps all the spares of everything we need and the clothes airer. Poor thing, it needs some love and attention and we will get there one day.

The other end of the room and yet more clutter

Aug 2025: We eventually get around to dealing with this room. We chose to combine it with Bedroom 4 and have made a gorgeous study/bedroom at the back of the house. It is much brighter with the two windows in the one room now and I can at last get my full desk and electronics back in a place where I can work. There is so much still to be done in this new combined room but with the new windows, heating, flooring and space it is a delight to be in even though it only has views of the garden and not of The Kyles.Â
Same view as above, now opened out and different uses.
Same view as above - same window but now you can see into the other room to the left.
Similar look to the view above, except now you can see the alcove on the right that used to be the door from the hallway into Bed 4
Similar view to above. New door on the wetroom (in fact new internal doors everywhere except for 2 waiting to be done) and Bedroom 5 is now the combined study.
